Read the Fathers

As of December 2019, I am lead administrator of Read the Fathers. Read the Fathers is a plan wherein we read seven pages a day over seven years and cover the many of the major works of ancient Christianity, basing our order and selection of texts upon the public domain Victorian translations in The Ante-Nicene Fathers and the Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, Series 1 and Series 2.

You can join us at any time! It may mean missing out what we’ve already gone through, but there is so much richness in this library that it is worth your time to sit down with the ancient theologians, exegetes, liturgies, ascetic writers, and church historians.
